Beginning with a photomontage made by John Heartfield in 1932, Vincent de Roguin introduces a critical and personal journey about radical political imagery of the 20th century: from its mythological and revolutionary origins to its most unfortunate contemporary takeovers. Communist agit-prop, Swiss fascism, German pop art or British anarcho-punk, Vincent de Roguin relates a history of “détournement”, survivals, frauds and sublimations.

“D’histoires d’engagements” is the last event of Rosa Brux at its location at “Autonomy Street”. After more than 4 years of collaborative work, Rosa Brux has endeavored to promote and improve its initial project dedicated to a critical and politically committed artistic practice. Independent since its founding, Rosa Brux will be back soon! Join us on Friday the 23rd at Rosa Brux! We’d like to share this final event at “Autonomy Street” with all people who has been a companion of Rosa Brux in some way and made this project possible.
